The money went from $10,000 for first place to $300 for 30th place. If you lost a bass that could have gained you a pound or two it made a big difference in your standings and I heard several talking about the one that got away, including myself.
Just look how close some of the weights are.
I glad we cut it off at 150 boats. Don't think the boat basin could hold anymore than that.
It took a lot of people to make this happen and to make it a sucess. Jerry Kelly & Ira Forhand worked their tails off to make this happen. And there are way to many to mention, but thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this happen. But like the banner on the left say's "Visit Gulf County". Take your family on a vacation and visit Gulf County.
The croud was big, the weigh-in facility was very nice and best of all you could get out of that hot sun.

Out of 153 Teams, there 93 limits weighed in and a total of 517 bass brought to the scales. I would say the river system is making a come back.
