Annual kids fishing day

Here are just a few of the over 100 kids that came out to fish the Consolidated Bassmasters Kids Fishing Day.

A big thanks to Consolidated Bassmaster members who helped make this day one these kids will remember.

  We had a great turn-out with over 100 kids coming with anticipation of catching old mister wiskers.  And as you will see below, Mister Wiskers did not let them down.  We started out with 4 year old and under fishing the first round for 45 minutes, weighing in their catch, and then munching on hotdogs, chips, cookies & a soda.  Then it was the 5 yr old to 8 yrs old turn and the the 9 yrs old and up.  They all had a great time as you can see from the photo's below.  All the kids recieved a brand new Zebco Rod and Reel Combo and there was a drawing and several of them recieved a crisp 20 dollar bill.

  All of them were winners but in the 4 yr old and younger catagory Katie Jones had the most weight.  In the 5 yr old to 8 yr old, it was Jade McLemore and the 9 yr old and up it was Destine McLemore.  There's nothing better than seeing these kids having a great time fishing and seeing their faces as they drag that catfish to the hill.
